You will need a safe area of open ground, such as a park or common. Your gaming arena will need to be fairly clear of trees and buildings in order for the GPS to work best.

What do I need to play?

Equipment

You need either a compatible GPS-enabled phone, or a compatible phone & GPS receiver.

Software

Before playing your first game, you'll need to download the free Locomatrix software to your phone. You'll only have to do this once.

  1. Point your mobile phone browser to loco.stage.futureplatforms.com/locomatrix/dl.jsp or text Loco as above.
  2. Click Download Locomatrix
  3. Follow the simple setup steps on your phone.
