LocoMatrix elsewhere on the net

Some nice things said about us recently. Springwise is headlined “Location-based games lure kids of the couch” whilst Psfk ends by saying “the only down side we see to this game is that everyone else in the park must think you’re crazy.” Herd, meanwhile, has an interesting intro with a mention of SIGNS a “mnemonic to help you figure out if you are on the road to your PC cutting you off from the outside world” and hence in need of a healthy dose of LocoMatrix.

Signs boils down to “S (an altered sleep cycle), I (irritable when not online), G (signs of guilt, you try and cover it up), N (nightmares….not as such, but you dream about your computer generated life), S (you sacrifice real life relationships to preserve virtual ones. You prefer living in a virtual than the actual world)” according to Dr Jerald Block of Portland, Oregon.
